Workouts

Here I am on day 3 of being back on track with working out. I would like to share with you all what my work out plan is and where I hope it gets me. I'm going to be using a variety of ways to workout here at home. I would love to use a gym but my hold up is paying to leave my kids in the daycare at a gym I just don't want to do it so I was letting that keep me from going when I did have a gym membership. Nothing but my own mind can keep me from working out at home!

Here is a list of the tools I will be using to workout here at home

1) wii fit, for litter days or days my kids are up before I'm able to workout (they both love watching that)
2) elliptical, this is great for a full body cardio workout
3) workout ball, I haven't used this much in the past I want to work it in
4) hand weights, I will be using theses with some of the dvd exercises
5) DVDS I have a few of them the main ones I will be using are made by Lindsay Brin's at  moms into fitness The ones I have are postnatal boot campcore firing sequence methodcore metabolic jumpstart and shed 5 fast. I also have a Yoga & Pilates total body toner that will be good for those I don't want to days as its pretty easy but still a good workout in the end.
6) I have a couple workout dvds for kids that I will do with Lucas when he asks if he can work out too they will be added on top of what was all ready planed for the day.

This is a workout test that I did today and will be redoing every 30 days to see how far I'm getting I would love to have some of you do it with me and share how your doing too!!

wall sit- 1 minuet 4.9 secants

In one minute how many can you do?
Push ups - 7
Push ups with knees on floor - 16
sit ups -27
swat thrust to jumps (also known as burpys) - 16
high knees hands hitting knee every time up- 92

This weeks workout plan is as follows
today- body test above and 30 minuets of cardio on the wii fit doing the run, bike and step
1-6 - core metabolic jumpstart dvd (7 mins) postnatal boot camp dvd (36 mins)
1-7 - Rest
1-8 - core metabolic jumpstart dvd (23 mins) and elliptical (10 mins)
1-9 - cardio (30 mins) take kids on a walk if nice out side wii fit if not
1-10 - Rest
1-11 - core metabolic jumpstart dvd (7 mins) core metabolic jumpstar dvd (23 mins)

Just a reminder I'm not a trainer I do not know much about working out I'm just going by the little I have read and I'm trying out my own plan by combining a few others I have read.

I had planed on hiking to the top of the bookclifts last fall but time got away from me and I didn't make it so I will reset that goal for as soon as its not to muddy to go in the spring! I look forward to going and will be letting everyone who had said they wanted to join me in doing that when I will be going soon as I know when.

Today I have also started my 2 day metabolism reset
